It's blazing hot in Barcelona at the end of August & Norwich School are enjoying a week of art, flamenco & photography!
Students enjoyed the visit to Gaudi's Parc Guell to see his house, the beautiful gardens & the panoramic views over the city.
Our next visit to Gaudi's La Pedrera was very popular with the photography students who immediately headed to the rooftop to photograph the strange chimneys modelled from scenes from Gaudi's nightmares. Many of the students took some excellent photos that would be submitted as their coursework back in school.
The hot day ended with an evening visit to the 'Magic Fountains' by the National Palace. The incredible fountains dance & leap in time with the music. Each time the wind blew the crowd got soaked but it was cold & refreshing after our day's sightseeing in this city full of art & architecture. A wonderful tour made better by the enthusiasm of the students to get as much out of their time in Barcelona as they could.
